"In the late 1960’s, my late father and I built a 16 rank pipe organ in Southern California. The organ, for the most part, was an opus 1921 Estey. It had additional odds and ends from other pipe organs. Older organs were being replaced with newer, lower wind pressure types. The console was hand made from maple and was fitted with two used manuals and a used pedal board. The sound was rich and unique."
"The organ was sold with the house in the mid 1970’s. Unfortunately a water pipe broke and flooded the organ chamber. The salvaged parts of the organ were sold off in pieces. I have yet to find the console and most of the pipes. The 8 foot Oboe stop was located in a home built organ in the Los Angeles area.
Any information on the whereabouts of the console and any other parts would be appreciated. "
